A Cookiebot alternative that does not bill per domain
Cookiebot is a solid, certified CMP. Since 2025 its pricing has been the complaint: the base plan doubled, small accounts were moved up a tier, and every extra domain and every block of subpages costs more. For an agency with fifteen client sites that adds up fast.
What ConsentKit does
- One flat price. €3 a month or €24 a year for up to 20 sites, any traffic, any number of pages.
- Banner with categories, Accept and Reject side by side, preferences panel, reopen link.
- Script blocking until consent, and Google Consent Mode v2 signals.
- Scanner that lists the third-party services and cookies on the site.
- Consent log for 12 months with CSV export.
- Geo-targeting: show the banner only where the law requires it.
What it does not do
No IAB TCF strings, so it is not for sites running programmatic advertising through ad exchanges. No automatic cookie blocking of scripts we cannot see: you tag them, or rely on Consent Mode for Google tags. No auto-generated legal policy text.

Create a site, run the scan, paste our snippet where Cookiebot's was, remove Cookiebot's data-cookieconsent attributes in favour of data-ck. Ten minutes per site.
